This document summarizes an art integration project submitted by Abhinav Bhardwaj on the role of mathematics in the construction of monuments and temples in Arunachal Pradesh, India. It acknowledges those who helped with the project and discusses how architects use simple geometry and trigonometry. Specific examples are provided of temples like the Thupsung Dhargye Ling and Buddha Temple, and monuments like the Golden Pagoda, Chilipam Monastery, and Bomdila Monastery located in Arunachal Pradesh. Details are given on the architectural designs and historical backgrounds of these religious sites constructed using mathematical principles.

I’d also like to express my gratitude to my school principal Dr. Ravindra Ahuja wholeheartedly. I must also thank my parents for the immense support and help during this project. Without their help, completing this project would have been very difficult. TOPIC Role of maths in construction of monuments/ temples in Arunachal Pradesh. ROLE OF MATHS IN CONSTRUCTION The construction management program does not require you to study any specific mathematics unit. Nevertheless, there is some form of maths that underpins much of the work that happens in the construction industry. From setting out a building on site to calculating quantities and costs, from determining floor space ratios to ordering materials, there is a lot of everyday practical arithmetic and mathematics. Architects use Simple Geometry, Trigonometry for Construction of buildings, Monuments, Temples. In this presentation we shall discuss about construction of Temples and Monuments in Arunachal Pradesh.
