It is customary code of polite behavior in


society among members of particular profession.
It’s all about how you should conduct yourself
while engaging across the social web.
INTRODUCTION

Basic social media etiquette is similar to office etiquette, also in TCS every
employee needs to be respectful & professional in their posts.

Apart from earnings, every employee of the company reflects the
company’s image in the society as well as on social platforms too. Keeping
this in mind every TCSer must follow all the policies of TATA code of
conduct.

Respect copyright and other plagiarism laws: for the protection of company as well as your own it is
critical to show proper respect towards laws.

Protecting the confidential information: social media breaks the professional boundaries between
internal and external communication. Be careful what you publish particularly on social media platforms.

Protect the clients, business partners and your co-workers: clients and business partners should not be
cited or referred without their approval.

Accountability: what you post becomes representations of you and your business so you will be
accountable for the information shared on your account . So think before you share.

1- When time to time you monitor own social media post. Then
you remove a wrong/confidential post. if you post by mistake.

2-If you monitor a social media post time to time then you
respond to your customer. It is valuable for your company.
