What is
Dynamo?
An electric generator, or dynamo, is a
device which converts mechanical
energy into electrical energy. The
simplest practical generator consists
of a rectangular coil rotating in a
uniform magnetic field. The magnetic
field is usually supplied by a
permanent magnet.
