SYSTEM PRESSURE GAUGE WORKS IN
COMBINATION WITH SYSTEM PRESSURE PRV
• System pressure gauge
located by the operators
controls to manage slipping
and crushing of tubulars

• Adjust the System PRV till

the tools being torqued no
longer slip and then add
100lbs (???) to the gauge
reading to assure no
movement

TORQUE CONTROL PRV
TORQUE CONTROL prv is used
to ADJUST PRESSURE on the
BREAKOUT CYLINDER and
increase +, or decrease – torque
force to what is being made up or
broken out.
The torque setting is determined
by use of a conversion chart
showing size of connection being
assembled
