telecommunications, broadcasting and Internet

TECHNOLOGY
• It includes the use of computers, which has
becaome indispensable in modern societies to
process data and save time and effort.
• Computer hardware and peripherals, software,
and for the user, computer literacy.
Telecommunication Technology
It include telephones and the braodcating of radio and television often through satellites.

Telephone system, radio, and TV broadcasting are needed here.


Networking Technology
Internet
Has extended to mobile phone technology, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) satellite communications and other forms of communications.
Includes mobile phones, cable, DSL, satellite, and other broadbrand connectivity.

ROADMAP - ICT4E

The ICT4E supports all the efforts of the


Roadmap to guide all agencies in the education sector in incorporating the use of
utilization, regulation, and ICT as well as in determining and gaining
access to the infrastructure which are
enhancement of ICT. necessary to use and deploy learning
technologies at all levels of education.
• ICT in Education Masterplan for all levels, including a
National Roadmap for Faculty Development in ICT in
POLICY education. A National Framework Plan for ICTs in Basic
Education was developed.

technology use, as there are positive and negative effects
of technology.

• Learners should take advantage of the potential of


learning support they can derive such as the development
of higher order thinking skills, the development of
learning communities through collaboration, the
enhamce,emt of skills to manage the vast resources as
21st century learners and many more.
Technology is an effective
tool that can make
education more meaningful
and engaging for teachers
and students alike.
