CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

Online Examination System for introduction to management is an application that is designed

and developed for students and lecturers.

The system helps students to take examination. It helps also lecturers to upload the questions

and answers in the database and they can see the students who fail or pass the exam. The

major objective of this project is to develop an online examination system for students

whereby exams/tests can be created and conducted online so as to ensure that E-learning

students don’t need to travel for long distances so as to sit for their examinations.

We will propose this Online Examination System to enables institution of high
learning to save time and money, and allow the delivery of education with
easiness, anywhere, and anytime.

This system gives more time to think of their answers


 The pressure is less because you are alone taking the exam
Student can concentrate more because they can choose the location where
they can answer comfortably
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The significance of this study is to automize


examination and to lessen the work load of checking
and identifying the instances of an exam.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The problem with the current system is that students take


their exam manually. This outdated system will take long time
utilization; the manual procedure used for conducting exam is
time consuming process.
