PRESENTATION

CNC CONTROLLER

PRESENTED BY : PARDEEP SINGH

CNC/IPC/23
Types of Machines
Conventional machine CNC NC
Type of Machines

Conventional Machines- These are the hand operated old style machines.

NC Machines - These are the Numeric Controlled machines operated by a set of numbers
symbols and letters made into a program which is punched into some punch card.

CNC Machines - These are fully automatic machines controlled with fully alphanumeric
program. Program is fed directly into the machine through some pen drive or a CD. Easy
Modification can be done in this type .
ADVANTAGES OF CNC MACHINES

 Increased productivity

 Greater Efficiency

 Saves time and money

 Safe and easy to use

 Greater Accuracy
Types of CNC MACHINES
Conventional CNC Non -Conventional CNC

Machines - In this type of machines Machines - It does not use a cutter as a
cutting is done with help of a cutting tool . cutting tool but uses other different methods
for cutting.
