• Formal vs. informal style


• Introduction of yourself

• State your purpose

- This morning we want to explain…
- In our presentation today, we’re going to explain...

Some hints with the body
1. Develop your main points with supporting
material, such as examples, evidences,
explanations, etc.,
• determine what main points to present
• Present your main points one by one in logical
order.
• Pause at the end of each point (give people time
to take notes, or time to think about what you are
saying).

 2. Show where one part ends and a new one starts
 - Let’s start with + (Noun)
 - I’ll begin by + (Ving)
 - The next point is that...
 - OK, now I am going to talk about ...
