What is a • A greenhouse lets you create your own
microclimate, controlling the temperature
"Greenhouse"? and humidity you expose your plants to.
Whether you want to grow vegetables all
year long, cultivate exotic plants, or start
seedlings off very early in the season, your
greenhouse provides the adaptable
growing environment you need.
• A greenhouse stays warm inside, even
during the winter. In the daytime, sunlight
shines into the greenhouse and warms the
plants and air inside.
Efficient active cooling within the home
Materials of the greenhouse should be set to Glass can be a danger the life around it Materials like fiberglass, acrylic, double-
not harm the environment, though some because if it shatters, it may hurt the sheet polyethylene film, polyvinyl chloride,
materials still may harm it creatures and polycarbonate can also be toxic or
deadly to some of the life who is around it
How 'green' really is the "greenhouse"?
Considering all the materials we just used, nothing is ever safe without precautions
Materials like glass, fiberglass, acrylic, double-sheet polyethylene film, polyvinyl chloride,
and polycarbonate can keep the life inside green and healthy but might be harmful for the life
outside
Oil is a major problem for pollution so we avoided and replaced it with environmentally safe
solutions like solar panels and windmills, windmill could still be a problem for the creatures in
the air
The finishing touch
To maximize the efficiency our greenhouse, we could use multiple sensors for different purposes
A temperature sensor would beep if the temperature is high or low, this will alarm the administrator
and would help him act fast
An alarm would also help to inform the administrator that it's time for a different task
We should try building this nearby nature not city, so we can reduce sound pollution, air pollution, and
water pollution
