MRP EXECUTION

The execution allows planning your manufacturing production, it identifies necessary materials,
estimates quantities, and determines when the materials will be required for the production schedule.

Prerequisites

• Define material master data: MRP views in material master for example (lot size and safety stock)
• Define work centers (Standard value key, Factory calendar ID, shits, breaks, formulas).
• Routing (Base Qty, Timings, UM)

In transaction code MD04 you can view the planning elements and your existing stock at the moment.

MD02 is a transaction code that allows the


execution of MRP to create procurement
proposals.
It is possible to run as a simulation mode to
ensure the required quantities.

Then the planning result is shown in simulation mode.
After the validation in simulation mode, you can save it to create your demand.

Go back to MD04 transaction to visualize


your demand. Observe the planned orders
with the quantity, date of production and a
display of more details of each planned
order.

Execute the CM01 transaction with the following parameters: Work center and plant.

The system shows the planning week with: the corresponding requirements, available capacity, percentage of
capacity load, remanent available capacity, and unit of measure.

When the week is selected, the system shows all the planned orders and production orders with the following
information: week, order number, operation, work center, material, quantity, production times, start and finish
dates.

Execute CM21 transaction to show the capacity leveling. The input values are work center and plant.
