OVERVIEW

● Mobile car washing and detailing is a business that provides


cleaning and aesthetic enhancement services for vehicles,
typically at the customer's location.

● It offers convenience to vehicle owners who don't have the time


or facilities to clean and maintain their cars themselves.

● This type of business has gained popularity in recent years due to


the growing demand for convenient and professional vehicle care
services.
Primary research:
Surveys and Questionnaires:
After interviewing a few number of persons we came to know about our problem
and what we have to do :
● Competitor Analysis:
There are many car wash franchises like (Autoz Spa,Ola CAr
Wash) available and local car wash center also available.

● Most of them providing mobile app services but that is not efficiently utilized
by users

Most of the people are directly going to centers for car wash and some of them
washing cars on their own
Secondary research:
We visited some car washing centers (CAGGO) there we found that

● They are charging around 400 rupees for hatchback and sedans around 600-700
rupees for SUVs.

● This carwash centre claims this money only for the outside cleaning, for
interior cleaning and vacuuming the charge 200-300 depends on the type of
cars.
Key points from the financial plan:
● Payback period is very less so that we can able to gain the amount we
invested within 6.29 months.

● Very less amount of initial investment around 1,57,100 rupees.

● Profit for this business is reasonable so that if any fluctuations happened


also we can able to manage it easily.

● The things we are buying for each car can be used for another cars also
(variable costs) like chemicals,polishes etc.

5Q framework is simple and effective tool that can be used to help businesses of all sizes and
industries to improve their sales process.

Q1-What important customer problem can you solve ?

Nowadays, everyone has cars. Most of them wash their cars outside, while a few wash them on their
own. However, they don't know the effects of improper car washing, which can cause damage. People
have been paying a high amount of money for car washing services. In terms of environmental
aspects, water wastage is a major concern. We have identified that people are facing difficulties in car
washing

Q2-How are you going to solve the customer problem?

We are going to solve this problem by starting an innovative mobile car washing and detailing
service so that users can benefit. We have to tie up with franchise partners to provide services in all
parts of our country. We will use less water for washing.
Q3-How many customers are willing to buy from you ?

As of now, our customers include all those who own cars. However, many people are not getting their
cars washed due to financial constraints. We aim to provide cost-effective services, including doorstep
and online services, with minimal water usage

Q4-Why can only you provide the solution ?

Compared to other countries, our country has a high number of car users. However, we do not have as
many car washing services, especially outside of metro cities. Currently, we only have franchise
models in big cities. Therefore, we believe we can provide an effective solution.

Q5-How can defend your product or service against the competition ?

Since we are following a unique business model through our offered services, we plan to introduce
robotic technology in the future for cleaning purposes

- I typically rely on professional detailing services to remove scratches and provide in-depth polishing work. I
prefer leaving this to the experts.
4. What factors influence your decision to get your car washed?
- The primary factors that influence my decision to get my car washed are weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain
or snow), special events (e.g., a family gathering or a date night), and the overall appearance of my car.

5. Are you a traveling person?


- Yes, I do travel frequently for work and leisure. So, having a clean and presentable car is important to me.

6. What specific services or features are most important to you when choosing a mobile car washing
service?
- Convenience is a top priority for me. I value mobile services that can come to my location, whether it's at
home or my workplace. I also appreciate eco-friendly practices and products, as well as reasonable pricing.

7. How do you usually find and choose a mobile car washing service?
- I often rely on online reviews and recommendations from friends and family to find a reputable mobile car
washing service. Positive reviews and word-of-mouth experiences are significant factors in my decision-making.
8. What do you think is a reasonable price range for a mobile car washing service?
- I consider a reasonable price for a mobile car washing service to be in the range of 500 to 600 for a basic
wash and vacuum.

9. Do you have any specific preferences regarding the timing and location of the car wash service (e.g.,

- I prefer the flexibility of scheduling the service at my convenience. Having options for evenings and
weekends is valuable, and being able to choose between getting it done at home or at my workplace is ideal.

- No, I haven't used mobile car washing services before.

11. What are the main reasons you would consider using a mobile car washing service over a traditional
car wash?
- Convenience and time-saving are the primary reasons. I appreciate the flexibility of not having to drive to
a car wash location and wait in line. Additionally, the ability to schedule the service at my preferred location
and time is a significant advantage of mobile car washing services.
Research and Development
If our business model proves to be successful, we will introduce robots in the cleaning process. Robots will
reduce labor usage and work for longer periods of time.

Currently, there are floor cleaning vacuum robots available, which cost approximately Rs-12,000 to 14,000.
However, we need to modify them to create a wall cleaning model so that they can wash cars on all sides.
We will utilize the concept of adhesion force of attraction. We plan to develop this once our business model
starts to grow.
