A STUDY ON EMPLOYEE INVOLVEMENT IN

KAMAL FOAM PRIVATE LIMITED, PUDUCHERRY

• Kamal Foam Pvt. Ltd (KFPL) is a Private Limited Indian Non-Government Company
incorporated in India on 11 June 1987 and has a history of 36 years and 11 months.
• Its registered office is in Pondicherry, Pondicherry, India.
Employee Involvement

• Employee involvement is a process for


empowering employees to participate in
managerial decision-making and
improvement activities appropriate to their
levels in the organization.
• Employee involvement is creating an
environment in which people have an impact
on decisions and actions that affect their jobs.
• It is not the goal nor is it a tool, as practiced in
many organizations.
• Employee engagement can be critical to a
company's success, given its links to job
satisfaction and employee morale.
• Engaged employees are more likely to be
productive and higher performing.
• Engaged employees care about their work
and the company's performance, and feel
that their efforts make a difference.
Statistical tools were used for data analysis and calculation:

These tools helped in analyzing the data collected from the employees and interpreting the results.

One-way ANOVA: This is a statistical method used for making


simultaneous comparisons between two or more means. It yields values that can be tested to determine whether a
significant relation exists between variables. In this study, the one-way ANOVA method was used to calculate whether
a difference exists between two variables or not.

T-test: This is a statistical hypothesis test used to determine whether there is a significant difference between the
means of two groups.

Correlation: This is a statistical measure that describes the association between random variables. In this context, it
was used for analysis and interpretation.
Here are some of the key points that were included in the
presentation:

• Majority of the respondents are in the age group of


25-30.
• Majority of the respondents are male.
• Majority of the respondents receive a salary of
15000-20000.
• Majority of the respondents have 11-20 years of
experience.
• Majority of the respondents are married.
• Majority of the respondents strongly agree that their
family members feel good about the job.
• Majority of the respondents strongly agree that they
avail the assignment given by family members in the
office related homework.
• Majority of the respondents agree that they have time
to do household work.
Suggestions to Strengthen the Employee Involvement :

• In Order to Strengthen the Employee Involvement, The Company

can enhance the rewards and incentives for the best performance.

• The company can facilitate voluntary groups to ensure team work

and better involvement in the work

• As the employees have low involvement to do their work, company

must adopt strategies to improve them

• The company can concentrate on more recreation activities to

reduce the stress and depression caused by the work to the

employees

• Good working environment must be provided to the employees to make

them feel comfortable to work.


Conclusion:

1. Recognizing Employee Contributions:


Employee involvement programs help organizations succeed by
valuing and using employees' contributions.
These programs encourage employees to participate actively in the
company's success.

2. Positive Work Environment:


Creating a supportive work environment where everyone is seen as
a leader helps employees perform better.
A good environment allows employees to succeed based on the
opportunities they have.

3. Engaged Employees Matter:


Engaged employees, who feel connected to the company and its
goals, are more loyal and productive than just satisfied employees.
They care deeply about the company's success and are committed
to its values.

4. Employee Engagement Activities:


Kamal Foam Limited engages employees through various activities
beyond their regular work, making them feel involved and valued.
This approach builds a strong, participative work culture.
