Wall Framing System
Stud & Track

‘Everest Wall framing system ’ Studs & Track sections provide Architect with the scope to design Framing Systems that
are durable and versatile. Construction of Sound & Fire Rated walls can be achieved using ‘Everest wall framing
system Stud & track’ profiles.

USP of Stud & Track

• Made up of Galvalume coating ( Zinc ~43.5%, Aluminum~ 55 % & Silica~ 1.5%)

• High corrosion resistance.
• Protects base metal from corrosion even when frames are cut, coating covers the edge

• Deep flange
• Unlike gypsum framing, Fiber Cement Board framing has deep flange i.e. 42/44 mm

Possible reasons for crack development

• Poor workmanship
• Wrong mixing ratio
• Pot life exhausted or adding water to
increase pot life
• Not using lintel panel over doors /
windows in case of panels
• Width of board equivalent to width of
door / window
• Jointing done before electrical work is
completed
• Installation in high vibration zone area

FIRE RATED

• Numerous accidents have occurred

CHALLENGES

around the globe, and they have

CURRENT

already demonstrated the seriousness

of the fire risk proposed by the
facades

• Various accidents have depicted that

combustible cladding materials
encourage the spread of fire on the
building’s façade and consume the
entire structure in a matter of hours
THERMAL INSULATION

• Heat transfer between exterior

CHALLENGES

(building envelope) and interior walls

CURRENT

and ceiling, increases HVAC energy

consumption and thus increase costs.

• Proper heating and cooling of the

rooms to make a comfortable home
requires material with low thermal
conductivity
VENTILATION SYSTEM

• Lack of air gap between the substrate

CHALLENGES

and façade cladding leads to

CURRENT

continuous exposure to weather, wind

and moisture

• Non-ventilated facades cause

condensation and temperature
irregularity which in turn can lead to
ineffective thermal insulation, growing
of mold and mildew on the surfaces
and making the building look damp
and unpleasant
WIND LOAD

• Strong winds pose a severe threat to

CHALLENGES

the facade of tall buildings leading to

CURRENT

damage of the entire system

• A key parameter to be considered

while constructing a building is the
wind-load and pressure in the region.
LONG LASTING
AESTHETICS

• Hide the off sets of the building to

CHALLENGES

make it look aesthetic

CURRENT

• To avoid renovation of old structures

that are affected by dampness and
severe weathering

• Avoiding additional dead load to the

existing old structure
EVEREST COLORCLAD

• Everest ColorClad is maintenance

free one-stop façade solution that
gives best in-class fire rating, thermal
insulation and desired aesthetics.

• Everest ColorClad is a high density

WHERE CAN COLORCLAD BE

SECTORS
USED ?

Commercial Buildings

Institutional Buildings
(Restaurants, hotels, public utilities)

Residential Projects
BENEFITS

Non-Porous compressed board with high durability and

robustness. MOR in wet condition is >14Mpa, thus,
increasing the product strength. Its apt for high wind load
Compressed Board conditions in tall structures.

The layer of water repellent coating agent on the board helps

the board in repelling water and has a water absorption
COLORCLAD?

capacity of <10%
Water Repellent

Color Clad has a direct screw withdrawal of >1750N,

WHY

indicating it has high capacity to withhold screw and prevent

the board from detaching from the frame (substrate)
Direct Screw Withdrawal

Once the ColorClad has been installed, it doesn’t require any

form of maintenance and there is no need of painting the
material with ageing
Maintenance- Free
BENEFITS
ColorClad improves building envelope performance. Direct
sunlight falls on the façade instead of the building thereby
reducing the temperature in the interiors and saving energy.
It can also be used in ventilated façade system allowing the
Thermal Insulation building to circulate fresh air and eliminate hot trapped air
between the structure and the façade, thus, saving energy

ColorClad’s have an everlasting colour which has a long life.

COLORCLAD?

It has a uniform fading over the years rather than leaving a

patchy look on the buildings
Permanent Colour
WHY

Permanent pigmentation in the product allows the building to

retain a raw and industrious finish
Aesthetics

ColorClad has green-pro advantage and reduces the energy

consumption thus making building sustainable and viable

adhesion to the substrate

2 Primer Application
Pour a small amount of primer into a clean, dry container. Apply
a thin, uniform layer of primer by brush to the panel surfaces
where the PanelFix adhesive will be applied. Allow the primer to
dry for a minimum of 15 minutes
3 Tape Application
Apply the Tape continuously and vertically onto the supporting
structure. Press hard onto the tape to ensure proper adhesion,
and installation
4 Panel Fix Adhesive Application and Completion
After cleaning, priming (if required) and tape installation,
DOWSIL™ 995 PanelFix may then be applied onto the
supporting structure(horizontal member). Finally, the board must
be installed by gently pressing it upon the structure.
