One of the goals of the K to 12 Basic Education Program is to
develop in learners the competencies, work ethics, and values
relevant to pursuing further education and/ or joining the world
of work.

Work Immersion, a required subject, has been incorporated into


the curriculum. This subject provides learners with opportunities:

• To become familiar with the workplace


• For employment simulations; and
• To apply their competencies in areas of specialization in
authentic work environments

Duration
Two (2)
The students will report for duty for
straight weeks, reaching 80 Hours.
Official days of reporting are from Monday-Friday
@ 8:00 to 5:00 pm - 8 hours daily.
(Weekdays. In cases where they are asked to report
during Weekends (Sat/Sun) by our Industry Partner, your
consent as Parent is a must. Students shall secure their
parents’ consent.)
Work Immersion is
NOT JUST A
SUBJECT
thus a REQUIREMENT
for graduation from
Secondary Education.
Grading System

WORK IMMERSION TEACHER – 40%


WORK IMMERSION PARTNER INSTITUTION –

60%
NOTE: The Work Immersion Partner Institution
has the authority to FAIL Students if they
deserved it.
