of your website including Host, User ID, and
Password.

FTP stands for File transfer protocol. It is the method of
updating web contents over the Internet.

To access web contents through the FTP, use a special


program called an FTP client. It is a software designed to
carry on tasks for updating the website and web contents.

You can either update a website and its contents through


FTP or CMS. If the website is static, use FTP. However, if the
website is dynamic, go for CMS.
