CLIENT’S year Pharmacy student studying at University of
BACKGROUND San Carlos is looking for a contemporary, two-
story commercial structure that can
accommodate her persona and business needs.

The architectural design should blend modern


lines and materials with subtle nods to the local
cultural context, creating a structure that is both
contemporary and respectful of its surroundings.
The first floor will have a pharmacy that draws
inspiration from Rose Pharmacy, and the second
floor will consist of a stock room and a personal
office for the client, who is a young
businesswoman.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The design of the building is strategically organized to serve distinct
functional purposes across its two floors. The ground floor is dedicated
to a pharmacy and convenience store. The upper floor is designated as a
personal office and stock room, accessible via a staircase positioned on
the left side of the building.
KEY FEATURES
Convenient Location
• Positioned near major roads for easy access, making it convenient
for pedestrians and drivers alike.

Ample Parking
• Sufficient parking space nearby, allowing customers to park easily
when visiting the pharmacy.

Accessibility Features
• Ramps, wide doors, and designated parking for individuals with
disabilities to ensure everyone can access services comfortably.
LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY
The location has a total lot size of 684 square
meters and is situated at Purok Makugihon, W
Rovira Dr, Dumaguete, 6200 Negros Oriental
and features an urban “plain” terrain.
In terms of accessibility, due to its adjacency to
a highway, the availability of public
transportation is of no issue and the location is
highly accessible.
