• Information literacy is knowing how to find information and evaluate its
quality.
• In the digital age, there is a lot of information. Finding diverse sources
of information can become complex. To be able to cope with the
amount of information, individuals requires to be skilled not only in
using information itself to solve problems, but also in using the
search tools to find the required information .
• During IL the librarian provides guidance for students in locating
evaluating and using information resources effectively.
