Grammar Explanation
Is used to describe actions that occurred at a specific
time in the past. Its structure is as follows:
AFFIRMATIV
Subject + verb in the past (e.g.: I went to the cinema yesterday)
E
Subject + did not (didn't) + verb in the base (e.g.: I did not go to the cinema
NEGATIVE yesterday)

QUESTION Did + subject + verb in the base (e.g.: Did you go to the cinema yesterday?)

AFIRMATIV
Sujeto + verbo en pasado (ej.: Yo fui al cine ayer)
O
NEGATIVO Sujeto + did not (didn't) + verbo en base (ej.: Yo no fui al cine ayer)

PREGUNTA Did + sujeto + verbo en base (ej.: ¿Fueron ustedes al cine ayer?)
