FORMATIONS
Great Ape: ( 大おお猿ざる ): is a giant,
anthropomorphic, ape and monkey-like
creature that the Saiyans of Universe 7
can transform into at the full moon to
increase their already formidable
strength tremendously.
Dragon Ball GT:
Perfect File speculates that Saiyans
were originally Great Apes who gained
intelligence and eventually took on a
humanoid form.
Kaio-ken ( 界かい王おう拳けん :"Fist of the
King of Worlds")
is a technique invented by King
Kai. It multiplies the user's ki for a
"heartbeat" and turns
their aura crimson - amplifying
their power and speed to
overcome previously stronger foes
at the cost of extreme bodily
recoil. Strong ki control is required
in order to wield the Kaio-ken
properly.
Super Saiyan ( 超スーパーサイヤ人
じん : is an
advanced transformation ut
ilized by members and
hybrids of the Saiyan race
that have sufficient
amounts of S-Cells in
the Drago
Ball series. Earthlings with
Saiyan heritage in Dragon
Ball Online can also assume
the transformation by
wishing to have their
dormant Saiyan powers
unlocked.
Pseudo Super Saiyan ( 疑
似超サイヤ人 : is a semi-
advanced transformation
used by Saiyans. Its first
and only appearance is
in Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug.
Super Saiyan Rage: is
considered an extremely
powerful evolution of the
Super Saiyan
transformation. Some
sources classify it as an
advancement of the
standard Super Saiyan
form, while others position
it as an evolution of Super
Saiyan 2.
Super Saiyan 2 ( 超スーパーサイヤ
人じん２ツー initially referred to
as Super Saiyan Fifth
Grade ( 超サイヤ人第五段階 Sūpā
Saiya-jin Dai-Go Dankai) at
the time of its debut, though
referred to as "Ascended
Super Saiyan" in
the Funimation dub only, is
the direct successor to the
first Super
Saiyan transformation. It is
very similar to the original
form in appearance and
attainment; however, the
power output is far greater,
as speed, strength, and
energy output all drastically
increase.
Spirit Bomb Super
Saiyan ( 元げん気き玉だま超スーパー
サイヤ人じん "Health Energy
Sphere Super Saiyan"):
is the result of a Super
Saiyan becoming
empowered
via absorbing a Spirit
Bomb.
Super Saiyan 3 ( 超スーパーサイヤ人じん３
スリー : is the third form
of Super Saiyan and the
successor to
the second transformation.
This form extracts every drop
of potential from a Saiyan's
blood. Goku was the first to
achieve the form and was
able to do so after several
years of vigorous training
in Other World. Gotenks later
achieves this form through
the power
of Trunks and Goten's fusion
and with Goku's example,
and Vegeta goes on to attain
it through training not long
after.
Ascended Super Saiyan( 超サイヤ
人第 2 段階 : Super Saiya 1 Stage 2,
referred to in Dragon Ball Z as
simply "Ascended Saiyan"), is
the first branch of an
advanced Super Saiyan,
achieved through intense
training in the Super
Saiyan form. It is a forced
increase in the power output and
muscle mass of the initial
transformation, therefore not an
actual transformation. Its
evolution is the Ultra Super
Saiyan form.
Mystic Form: The Dragon
Ball franchise has embraced
the recurring trope that
many of its characters
physically transform into
even more powerful forms
as they face increasingly
formidable opponents. As
one of the strongest fighters
in the series, Gohan is
certainly no exception, and
the introduction of his
powerful Mystic form took
him to a whole new level.
Super Kaio-ken ( 超スーパー界か
い王おう拳けん Sūpā Kaiōken, lit.
"Super Fist of the King of
Worlds"), also called Super
Saiyan Kaio-ken, is a
combination of the Super
Saiyan or Super Saiyan
Second Grade
transformation and
the Kaio-ken technique.
Vegito :In the final saga of Dragon
Gogeta Ball Z, Goku and Vegeta fused
Fusion together to form Vegito. This
Dance fusion was achieved by wearing
Potara earrings, which forcibly drew
the two Saiyan warriors into a
single, powerful individual. Vegito
combined both of their personalities
and features, creating a formidable
Vegito fighter who was the best of both Z
Potara Fighters.
Earrings
Gogeta: Gogeta is the fused body
of both Goku and Vegeta after
performing the Fusion Dance. The
Fusion dance is a technique in
which two fighters which equal
power levels perform a quick dance
that fuses them for 30 minutes and
combines their fighting power. It
was taught to Goku by the
Metamoran race.
