HARDWARE
Computer hardware includes the physical parts of a computer, such as the case, central processing unit,
monitor, keyboard, computer data storage, graphics card, sound card, speakers and motherboard.
There are two types of hardware device: Input and Output Device.
An input device is a hardware or peripheral device used to send data to a computer. An input device
allows users to communicate and feed instructions and data to computers for processing, display,
storage and/or transmission.
Output devices relay the response from the computer in the form of a visual response (monitor) or
sound (speakers). The purpose of these devices is to translate the machine's response to a usable form
for the computer user. Output devices is to receive information that you can see, read or hear.
SOFTWARE
SOFTWARE
is the general term for various kinds of programs used to operate and
manipulate computers and their peripheral devices.
APPLICATION SOFTWARE
Application Software are designed to satisfy a particular need of a
particular environment. Application software is a program that allows
user to do a specific task on the computer. Common examples are Word
Processing, Spreadsheet, E-mail and Internet browser application.
