• “Thamel within Thamel” - concept of


chowks. Seven such chowks inside the
building plans and the the main chowk is
the courtyard.

• Aiming to represent Thamel by offering an


experience of shopping, markets, nightlife,

POSITIVE ASPECTS
• Ample and sufficient parking space: 400 cars and 500 bikes.

• Separate access for hotels and commercial area sharing the same
basement and parking.

• Staircases in all four corners at an adequate distance from all sides in


case of any emergencies.

• Emergency staircase also leads to the direction of main entrance.

• Provision of smoke detectors, sprinklers, atrium, sky light for efficient


day lighting.

• Fire extinguishers are also provided at appropriate distances.

• Power connections and generators are placed outside the complex in an


isolated shed.

• Corridors = approx 3m wide running all four directions

• Total of 3 lifts with capacity of 10 people per lift.

• 4 escalators are provided at two different locations.
