Abstract
Food is the basic necessity among all basic needs- food, shelter
and clothes. It is important as it nourishes the human body.
However with the increase in the population and development of
the country food wastages has risen to a new high. There are
many restaurants, hotels, marriage halls, etc. who wish to donate
the food that is extra to them but due to lack of a proper
platform , they are unable to do so. Our application aims to bring
about transparency, clarity and swiftness in the process of
donation thus aiming to mitigate prevailing issues in whatever
zone it is possible for us to do so.
Introduction
The initiative of this project is to help the mankind by
providing them food that is excess to some but for the needy,
it is there one time meal. The application targets to stop the
wastages of food and provide them to the needy people.
The system has three modules:-
• User : The User module is designed for the people who wish
to donate their excess or leftover food to help reduce food
wastage.
• Admin: The admin module is for the trusts, NGOs and
charities that are registered on the platform.
• Delivery: The delivery person module is for the individuals
who wish to participate in the food donation process by
pickup and delivery services.
Existing System
• In the current working scenario, many NGOs are
working for the needy people and they are
connecting people who wants to donate the food.
• Some like Shrimatianita Devi foundation,
Pephands, SharetheMeal, etc. are available for the
food donation.

Proposed System/ Objective
The proposed system is a application based system that serves
as a platform for people who want to donate food to those in
need. This proposed system will eliminate all disadvantages of
the current donation system and benefit all users.
The main objective are as follows:-
• To prevent the wastage of the food .
• To help needy people by providing them the food.
• To establish a system of networking between the NGOs,
charities and donors.
• To provide the transparency, clarity and swiftness in the
process of donation .

We believe in the power of community to make a difference.
