ABSTRACT
This project presents the design and implementation of an IoT-based
smart notification board that enhances communication efficiency
through real-time, remote updates. Utilizing an ESP32 microcontroller,
LCD display, GSM modem, and the Blynk IoT platform, the system
allows authorized users to send messages via a mobile application.
These messages are displayed instantly on a digital board and sent as
SMS alerts to intended recipients. The solution is particularly suitable
for educational institutions, offices, public transport hubs, and
healthcare facilities, where timely information dissemination is crucial.
The proposed system addresses the limitations of traditional and
semi-digital notice boards by offering remote access, multi-user
support, energy efficiency, and reduced reliance on paper. This smart
board offers a scalable, cost-effective, and secure platform for
modern, connected environments.

OBJECTIVE
The "IoT-Based Smart Notice Board with LCD Display and SMS
Notifications" project offers a modern solution for real-time message
dissemination in institutions, offices, and public spaces. Using an
ESP32 microcontroller, the system connects to an LCD display and a
GSM modem to remotely display messages and send SMS alerts.
Integrated with the Blynk IoT platform, users can easily update
notices via a mobile app, ensuring timely communication. This smart
notice board reduces paper use, minimizes manual maintenance,
supports multiple users, and enables secure, remote operation—
making it a scalable and efficient alternative to traditional notice
boards.

INTRODUCTION
This project introduces an IoT-based smart notice
board system that streamlines information sharing
using an ESP32 microcontroller, LCD display, GSM
modem, and the Blynk IoT platform. Users can
remotely update messages via a mobile app, which
are instantly displayed on the board and sent as SMS
notifications to intended recipients. Designed for
educational institutions, offices, and public spaces,
the system enhances communication efficiency,
supports multiple users, reduces paper usage, and
eliminates manual updates. It offers a scalable,
secure, and cost-effective solution for modern
communication needs through real-time, remote
access.

EXISTING SYSTEM 7
1. Traditional Paper-Based Notice Boards: Require
manual updates, which are time-consuming and labor-
intensive.
2. Digital Notice Boards (USB or Manual Input): Require
physical access for updates, lacking remote accessibility.
3. Email or Social Media Notifications: Depend on internet
access and may be easily overlooked by recipients.
4. Bluetooth-Based Notice Boards: Offer limited range,
necessitating users to be in close proximity, making them
unsuitable for larger areas.
5. LED Display Notice Boards (Wired Communication):
Involve complex wiring and setup, and cannot be updated

rapidly switching on and off, storing
energy in the inductor when on, and
releasing it to the output when off,
ensuring efficient voltage
conversion. For example, a buck
converter can be used to convert
