“Generation of Unity: Partners for

the New Philippines (Henerasyon
ng Pagkakaisa: Kaagapay sa
Bagong Pilipinas)”

THIS SERVES AS AN INVITATION

Message
As we close School Year 2024-2025, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our learners,
teachers, school staff , parents, and partners who have been part of this shared journey.
This year’s theme, Henerasyon ng Pagkakaisa: Kaagapay ng Bagong Pilipinas, underscores
our collective eff ort in strengthening our education system to meet the demands of a
rapidly evolving world.

I have seen this commitment firsthand in my visits to schools across the country. I have
met learners who wake up before dawn to walk kilometers to learn, teachers who go
beyond their duty, and parents who sacrifice to provide their children with better
opportunities. These realities push us to craft enduring reforms.

Through the 5-Point Reform Agenda, we have taken concrete steps to address classroom
shortage, strengthen our workforce by filling critical personnel, accelerate digitalization,
enrich career pathways, and implement policies that lead to lasting systemic
improvements. We opened the doors of our offi ces and schools to our partners in the
private sector to make all of these happen.

Beyond solving existing challenges, we are also spearheading the groundwork for a future-
ready education system. Our goal is not just about an uptick in numbers. Our goal is for
every Filipino child, no matter where they are, to have the opportunity for learning, growth,
and success.

To our teachers and school staff , your dedication is the foundation of this transformation.
Your hope and hard work are the reason we are making progress. To parents and guardians,
your support at home shapes the aspirations of our learners and inspires them to strive for
more.

To our students, you are the heart of everything we do. Your dreams fuel our drive to make
education better and more inclusive.

And to our graduates and completers of SY 2024-2025, congratulations! You are the
generation that binds all of us together. As you step into the next chapter of your lives,
bring with you the values of perseverance, resourcefulness, and compassion that define us
as Filipinos.

As we moved forward, DepEd, under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos

Jr., remains committed to raising the quality of education, strengthening governance, and
ensuring that our youth reach their full potential. With an unyielding commitment to
equity, we will build a stronger, more inclusive education system for generations to come.

Maraming salamat at mabuhay ang edukasyon ng

Bagong Pilipinas!

SECRETARY, DEPARTMENT OF
EDUCATION
Message
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams, said Eleanor
Roosevelt. Today, dear graduates, you take a significant step toward that future. Batch
2025, this moment is not the culmination of your journey, but rather the beginning of a
boundless new chapter. It is a fraction of your dreams- a moment to inspire you to
aspire even higher.

As you look ahead, I urge you to hold steadfast to your dreams. The road may not
always be smooth, but dreams and ambitions are achieved through unwavering
diligence, perseverance, determination, and faith- in yourselves, in others, and in God.
Remember that the challenges you face are the stepping stones that will lead you to
greatness.

Let the lessons you have learned, the experiences you have gained, and the guidance
lovingly off ered by your teachers and parents light your path as you navigate the next
stages of your journey. Carry their wisdom with you, and know that we will all continue
to pray for your success as you venture forward.

To the proud parents and families, your love and sacrifice have brought this day to life.
To our dedicated teachers, school offi cials, and to our valued partners, stakeholders,
and entire DepEd Schools Division of Masbate Province- thank you for your tireless
commitment and contribution to this year’s remarkable success. This accomplishment
belongs to all of you as well.

As we reflect on our nation, we recognize that the Philippines faces challenges on many
fronts. Yet, it is you, Batch 2025, who hold the power to eff ect change and build a
brighter future. Be an active force for unity and peace in our nation, just as this year’s
theme calls upon you to be partners for the New Philippines. Embody our core values-
Makatao, Makadiyos, Makakalikasan, at Makabansa- and let these guide your choices
and actions.

Graduates, you are the generation of hope, the generation of unity. You are the
trailblazers who will steer our nation toward progress, inclusivity, and harmony. Let this
day serves as a reminder of your potential and as a promise of the brighter days to
come.

With heartfelt pride and admiration, I extend my sincerest congratulations to all of you.
The future is yours- dream boldly, act courageously, and succeed magnificently.

Mabuhay ang Batch 2025!

GRADUATION SONG
“Long Live by Taylor
Swift”
I said remember this moment
In the back of my mind
Hold on to spinning around
Confetti falls to the ground
The time we stood with our shaking May these memories break our fall
hands
The crowds in stands went wild Will you take a moment?
We were the kings and the queens Promise me this
And they read off our names That you’ll stand by me forever
The night you danced like you knew But if, God forbid, fate should step
our lives in
Would never be the same And force us into a goodbye
You held your head like a hero If your have children someday
On a history book page When they point to the pictures
It was the end of a decade Please tell them how the crowds
But the start of an age went wild
Tell them how I hope they shine
Long live the walls we crashed
through
Long live the walls we crashed
How the kingdom lights shined just for
through
me and you
I had the time my life with you
I was screaming, “Long live all the
Long, long live the walls we crashed
magic we made”
through
And bring on all the pretenders
How the kingdom lights shined just
One day we will be remembered
for me and you
I said remember this feeling And I was screaming, “Long live all
I passed the pictures around the magic we made”
Of all the years that we stood there on And bring on all the pretenders, I’m
the sidelines not afraid
Wishing for right now Singing long live all the mountains
We are the kings and the queens we moved
You traded your baseball cap for a I had the time of my life fighting
crown dragons with you
Whey they gave us our trophies And long, long live the look on your
And we held them up for our town face
And the cynics were outraged And bring on all the pretenders
Screaming, “This is absurd” One day, we will be remembered
‘Cause for a moment, a band of
thieves
In ripped up jeans got to rule the
world
Long live the walls we crashed
through
How the kingdom lights shined just for
me and you
I was screaming, “Long live all the
magic we made”
And bring on all the pretenders, I’m
