She is the founder of two language-focused platforms, https://www.thelanguagemenu.com/ and https://vardsvenska.fi/en/, and since 2008, has actively contributed to more than 60 distinct EU language projects, serving effectively in roles as both partner and coordinator.
She incorporated a wide range of images, articles, and tangible objects into her teaching, creating engaging and dynamic learning experiences. Often, she moved lessons beyond the traditional classroom environment, immersing her students in authentic, real-life scenarios. Although she did not rely on textbooks, she meticulously customized each course to address the specific requirements and interests of her clients, with most instruction structured around topical themes. To support this tailored approach, she developed extensive, high-quality content using various online tools and resources. Her classes prioritized communication skills, empowering learners to confidently engage in their chosen language while enjoying the learning process. Having now concluded her active teaching career, she is currently taking inventory of the extensive collection of materials she created over the years and has begun integrating them into her Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) materials database.view less
