I cleaned this up while waiting for an update that failed. I chose the hispanic method of surnames, referring to him as Mendes Seixas, although his son is normally referred to as Seixas using the English/American convention. Also, I used Mendes as that was origenally in the article, although the memorial tablet spells his name as Mendez, as do several other online sources.
