Rollback reason
[edit]Illinois Central Gulf Railroad is a redirect to this article. Linking away from here only to be redirected back here makes no sense. Slambo (Speak) 14:40, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
1990's "Deathstar" logo
[edit]I think that it needs to be uploaded. It shows how the railroad tried to create a new image for themselves.

[edit]Uploaded an old advertisement that mentions this railroad. Thought it might be useful to the article. – JBarta (talk) 19:28, 26 July 2013 (UTC)

Paper Railroad
[edit]Since it is still a legally operative entity, shouldnt its data of operation be to the present, but with a note clarifying "as a paper railroad since 1999." ? ADHD Ginger Boi.#ALM2M ChiserYT (talk) (talk) 17:42, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
- No. Illinois Central has not operated trains since 1999, which is the point in saying that it stopped operating in 1999. Existing as a paper company doesn't count as an operating railroad; CN has operated the IC lines since 1999. Also, what on earth is your signature??? Trainsandotherthings (talk) 19:19, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
- lay off the signature. Its might not operate any rail, but if it's still a legally operated entity that still does business, then it should be noted. ADHD Ginger Boi.#ALM2M ChiserYT (talk) (talk) 02:18, 2 May 2023 (UTC)

- Your signature is in violation of our rules on signatures. It is excessive in length and makes discussions very difficult to follow. It needs to be changed. And once again, Illinois Central isn't an operating railroad, it's just a shell corporation used by CN for its U.S. operations, as I already explained. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 02:45, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
- it doesnt though. So as previously stated lay off. And also, a shell of a company Is still a company. ADHD Ginger Boi.#ALM2M ChiserYT (talk) (talk) 12:47, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, guess you're getting a trip to ANI. This was all avoidable. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 13:02, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
- I'm litterally on mobile you think I know how to change my tag on a phone. You seem to like to be strict and unwilling to change. You diverted my discussion to an unrelated topic. ADHD Ginger Boi.#ALM2M ChiserYT (talk) (talk) 14:47, 2 May 2023 (UTC)

Map
[edit]This map is not anywhere near accurate. Clinton and Decatur seem to be missing. Both were hubs on the IC. 2601:248:8400:D370:74D9:C1BF:3E61:58E (talk) 07:47, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
