Location: Leningrad, Petrograd, or St. Petersburg

I'm confused as to why the article states that it is "located in Leningrad, R.S.F.S.R." That city is now known as St. Petersburg and when the studio was founded it was Petrograd. Maybe it should say something like "...located in St. Petersburg, Russia, formerly Leningrad, R.S.F.S.R." Gr8white (talk) 05:38, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

from Soviet cinema - Archival documents from RGALI, 1923-1935: "VFKO (the All-Russian Film Department of Narkompros) led the newly-nationalized film industry in 1919, and was replaced by Goskino in 1922 and Sovkino in 1924. (...) The USSR Kinokomitet was established in 1929 and later reorganized as Soiuzkino. Sovkino ceased to exist in 1930 and its functions were transferred to the new agency.
