Phenomenon

[edit]

This article neglects to inform readers that a phenomenon is an experienced apprearance in an observer's mind. Read Kant's first critique for particulars. A common mistake is to regard phenomena as things in themselves (observed objects without observing subjects). This mistake results in the paradoxes that scientists gleefully recount.Lestrade (talk) 00:51, 29 August 2011 (UTC)Lestrade[reply]

Direction with this article

[edit]

I am seeing some potential overlap with Natural disaster and Natural hazard, although those characterize the natural phenomenon in a negative or destructive manner. On the more positive side of thins, there's all sort of less killing stuff we can include. Category:Natural events breaks it into 3 areas, Astronomical event‎s, Natural disasters‎ and Weather event‎s. --NickPenguin(contribs) 04:56, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Much too listy at present, and I have added to them! Some good prose would help. A bit of history of the development of observation is one possible field. Phenomena that were not observable 100 years ago are now. Should the definition be changed to include POTENTIALLY observable? We might stear away from Creation for a bit.SovalValtos (talk) 19:24, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can anyone find a time lapse of crystal growth please? The peach image is a peach! SovalValtos (talk) 14:08, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The layout is beginning to look a mess, but maybe we can wait to address that until the article has developed further with more text? SovalValtos (talk) 02:56, 31 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This article is a disaster

Just wanted to point that out. -Jordgette [talk] 14:26, 27 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Homogeneous mixture

[edit]

Mixture having uniform composition and indistinguishable constituents are called homogeneous mixtures. 2409:4089:AB0D:45F9:3659:7F23:7EC2:399C (talk) 13:54, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
