This is a list of article titles that may confuse some users. It's like the “I Thought It Meant” page at TV Tropes, but with titles from Wikipedia. You are welcome to edit it at your will.
0 to 9
[edit]- Any title with a year in it is not translated to the Japanese calendar in Japan. For example, Nineteen Eighty-Four isn't Shōwa 59 in Japan.
- 0.999... has many redirects, but 0.9 isn't one of them.
- 1300 AM and all higher numbers are correct and should not be PM. Similarly, 860 AM and anything else with a middle digit of 6, 7, 8, or 9 are perfectly fine.
- 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios were not created via square/square root relationship.
- 3G, 4G, and 5G are not a linear progression. For example, when 6G comes out, it isn't exactly twice 3G.
- 4Kids and Kars4Kids are unrelated.
- 50 Cent is not about the coin.
- 538 is about the year, not the website.

- The Bats people are not part bat.
- Battleship, at the base title, is not about the game.
- Big Hero 6 is not the sixth in a series.
- The Book of Job won't help you get hired.
- The Book of Numbers is not a book full of numbers.
- Bo'ston is not in Ma'ssachusetts.
- Boston Pizza is a pizza chain that cannot be found in Boston.
- The Burger Court is not a food court that only sells burgers.

- Came is not a dictionary definition of the word.
- The Capitol Mall is not a shopping mall.
- Johnny Cash cannot be spent.

- Cleveland Circle is in Boston, not Cleveland.
- Colored and Coloured are two different articles despite being different variants of the same word.
- Coney Island is not an island.
- Copyleft, Copywrong, and Copywrite go to three different places, none of which are Copyright.
- Cori Bush, currently in the US House, and Diane Mitsch Bush, who lost House elections in 2018 and 2020, are not related to either president Bush.
- Coulor and Coulours are not redirects to color.
- Covidien predated COVID-19 by over a decade.
- The Crimean War did not occur in 2014, 2022, or any time in the 21st century. For that matter, Crimea is not named after crime.
- Cruz v. Beto is not about the 2018 Senate election in Texas.

- The Diet of Worms did not involve eating worms (except when the article gets vandalized).
- Disney bombs aren't Disney movies that failed at the box office.
- The Divine Comedy isn't very funny. Back then, the word “comedy” had a different meaning.
- Most items at Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Family Dollar cost more than a (US) dollar, although this is a recent (2021-2022) change for Dollar Tree.
- Don Black (white supremacist) was definitely not black.
- Donkey Kong is not a donkey.

- Gould is not the British spelling of gold.
- Graham crackers weigh more than a gram.
