Particularly: “Related to (“jellyfish”), which might be a zero derivation from (OC *ʔl'ed, “to sting”)? OC animal prefix *m- (Baxter-Sagart (2014)) responsible for voiced initial in MC?”

A Min pronunciation with voiceless initial (癡駕), attested in 《嶺表録異》 ("Records of Peculiarities in Ling[nan]"; [late 9th c. CE] by 劉恂 (Liu Xun); lost, quoted in Taiping Guangji 465), was possibly related to high-register-toned Sino-Vietnamese reading trá.
