An Overview for Postdoctorates 

The purpose of Parental Leave is to enable an employee to care for and bond with a newborn or a newly adopted or newly placed child.

UCAR will provide up to 14 weeks of Parental Leave in a rolling 12-month period. Parental Leave provides eligible employees with job protected leave and income replacement in coordination with other UCAR leaves of absence.
