Halo 3

Making a game that people will point to as innovative is a tough thing to do, especially in the crowded first-person shooter genre. Halo 3 manages to make significant leaps forward in so many areas that it has gone far enough to spoil Xbox 360 owners. Saving, watching and sharing replays of entire levels are just the beginning. There's also a multiplayer level editor and a meta-game that turns the co-operative mode into an intriguing competitive match. Once again, Bungie has left the competition scrambling to catch up.
