There are videogame characters, characters in films, then there are GTA characters which fall somewhere in between. They have a Scorsese quality that is hard to describe, and no other series in gaming has come close to topping it. GTA IV also takes the unique route of not relying on big-name Hollywood talent to fuel the action. Instead Rockstar went with a roster of smaller names that filled the sizable shoes of Niko and company splendidly.
