NE Swell is the best. Despite it being the perfect spot for longboards, you will find all the shortboard sitting on point break. This is the spot that you go when the wind changes direction to NE during winter. The waves are mellow and slow. As the name of the spot suggest, it is called smelly water for a reason. The water used to be polluted badly but it is now much better. Occasionally you will still get a bit of oil from the ships in the harbour.
Just make sure you don't ride the waves for too long as it is a shorebreak. At the end of the beach, there's man made boulders and you want to get off before you hit them.
It's a secret spot, in the residential area. But it's next to the Chinese temple/basketball court.
Check Wushi.
Free parking, but it is residential area. The residents hates the surfers so don't block off their roads or you will end up like me a scratched car.
None, you need to rent from Wushi which is 10 minutes away.
