- IcoFX is an icon creation software for Microsoft Windows. Previously a freeware, it allows editing multiple formats of icons with support for transparency. Icons can also be converted from one format to another, for instance from a Macintosh icon to a Windows icon. Users may easily import any image and convert it to an icon. Version 1.6.4 was the last freeware-release of IcoFX. The creator of IcoFX, Attila Kovrig, also developed an animated cursor editor called AniFX in 2008. AniFX's development was discontinued after its features were integrated into IcoFX 2.0. (en)
- IcoFX es un software profesional de creación y edición de iconos y cursores para Windows. Las principales características que tiene son la creación/edición de iconos (archivos .ico) y cursores estáticos o animados (archivos .cur y .ani) de múltiples resoluciones y conversión de imágenes estáticas a iconos o cursores. Dos funciones exclusivas de los cursores son las siguientes: se puede usar color invertido (negativo); con el propósito de facilitar el uso del ordenador a las personas con discapacidad/dificultad visual, que no distinguen bien el contraste, y modificar la zona activa del cursor; el punto representado por dos coordenadas: X, Y, el cuál es necesario y se usa para seleccionar elementos en la pantalla o detectar la posición del puntero.Otra función bastante útil es la opción de extraer iconos de aplicaciones y archivos (.exe, .dll)La aplicación no soporta edición de cursores con valores de pixeles invertidos (Para cursores de alto contraste). Solamente soporta colores HSL para cada pixel. (es)
