Files in Category:Anne Frank
[edit]Images showing a woman born in 1929. These are protected by copyright for 95 years since creation in the United States as they were not yet in the public domain in the source country on 1 January 1996. Unclear if they are currently in the public domain in the source country. Some listed as own work by the uploader, but it is unclear how the uploaders would have been able to take these images in the 1920s, 1930s or 1940s.

- Probably true for the stamps and the logo (but for other reasons like all other German stamps). But what about File:Andrew Nicastro and Miep Gies.jpg. That photo was taken in 1996 and that's plausible as it shows an older, different woman (Miep Gies). --Kungfuman (talk) 16:33, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
- I don't know how I ended up including File:Andrew Nicastro and Miep Gies.jpg in this deletion nomination. That one is a completely different case and more an issue of whether we trust an "own work" claim by a user who has only made one single contribution. Obviously a scan, but is it a scan of a photo or of a magazine? --Stefan4 (talk) 17:02, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
