Nederlands: In plaats van je vervuilende dieselauto te nemen en heen en weer naar de stad te rijden, daar een halfuurtje naar parking te zoeken - veel te veel betalen - en nog eens terug te rijden, besluit je om online wat te shoppen. Goed voor je portemonnee (want alles wordt toch gratis verzonden) en beter voor het milieu, want die auto blijft de hele namiddag in de garage. Maar, klopt dat idee wel? Want dat ene paar schoenen bestel je in Spanje en die blouse moet overkomen uit Groot-Brittannië. Er wordt tot wel twee keer toe naar je thuis gereden, want je was uiteraard niet thuis toen je boodschappen geleverd werden. Professor Cathy Macharis en haar team bij MOBI-VUB gaan na of dit wel allemaal zo duurzaam is. |
