User talk:Londoneye
Our first steps help file and our FAQ will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy. You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold contributing here and assume good faith for the intentions of others. This is a wiki ‒ it is really easy. More information is available at the Community Portal. You may ask questions at the Help desk, Village Pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons. You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at Commons talk:Licensing. |

deprecated function in your monobook.js
[edit]Dear user, I noticed that you use the includePage function in your monobook.js page.
This function is now obsolete, as the importScript function was introduced with rev:35064 to the MediaWiki Javascript core library wikibits.js. It also keeps track of already imported files.
To allow us to remove includePage from Mediawiki:Common.js I'd kindly ask you to replace its use with importScript (same syntax!). Thanks! --Dschwen 17:03, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Flickr images
[edit]Hello, your request was successful; see Commons talk:Flickr images/reviewers/archive 5. —Giggy 09:17, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
If he had been uploading pictures of female Wikipedia users which the users had previously gotten deleted, and did not wish to be further disseminated, then a GFDL licence might not have saved them from deletion... AnonMoos (talk) 15:25, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for participating
[edit]Thanks for taking part in my RFA. It passed 29-5-0, and I appreciate and will take to heart all of the feedback, and do my absolute best to better Commons with the trust placed in me by the community as a whole. rootology (T) 17:15, 31 July 2008 (UTC) | |

[edit]images deleted
[edit]Due to concerns raised about the photos of Taxwoman, other related images are being deleted also (again), and I have deleted one of yours in the interests of completeness. See Commons:Administrators' noticeboard#Image issues reported on enwiki for details.
There have been numerous calls for the people involved in this to verify their identity, and those calls are being renewed again. I realise this is quite an onerous request for someone like yourself who has such a limited involvement in the wiki, but if the others like Poetlister do, it will lend credibility to your own images being of yourself. We need to sort this out once and for all; my apologies for the confusion while this plays out. John Vandenberg (chat) 02:57, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Poetlister sockpuppet. Info here. Has engaged in numerous discussions on Commons in which Poetlister also engaged, clearly violating sockpuppetry policies in the process. Giggy (talk) 11:22, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
