Honduran flag
[edit]Hi Westnordost. There are some things you skipped in the story: 1) That lengthy civilized discussion in "Flag of Honduras.svg" came to nowhere, the file was overwrite-blocked and got stuck in that blatantly wrong version that has a color way too light. 2) Therefore, I uploaded a new file (the file in dispute) under the name "Real flag of Honduras", which later Urbanuntil changed the color and the name. 3) My choice on the color is based on a es.Wikipedia project that stablished colors to flags with no digital specifications: that color fits in with the "B+" blue that is assigned to flags described as "turquoise" (that's case of the Honduras flag). Plus, that color fits in with the common shade of blue used on the flag, as shown by the sources in the "Summary". 4) I made some few replacements on Wikipedia to link my file instead of the wrong file, then a bunch of other Wikpedians did the same; that is for me a sign that they found my file to be the acurate one. -Kes47 [REPORT AN ERROR] 17:11, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
Okay, thanks for explaining. Maybe that process should be documented somewhere if it is not yet, it wasn't clear to me as an outsider. Westnordost (talk) 20:45, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
