Consumer

The consumer module defines the resolver for the queue to process the async events. For more information about this feature, see async events.

Properties

Property	Type	Required	Description
`key`	`string`	Yes	A key for the module, which other modules can refer to. Must be unique within the manifest. Regex: `^[a-zA-Z0-9_-]+$`
`queue`	`string`	Yes	The name of the queue for which the resolver processes the events asynchronously.
`resolver`	`{ function: string, method: string}`	Yes	`resolver` contains two properties. The `function` property refers to the `function` module that defines the handler for resolver. The `method` property refers to the resolver method that will be executed when events are pushed to the queue of this consumer module.
`crossVersion`	`boolean`	No	When set to `true`, this property ensures that async events are processed even if the application version changes before the event processing begins. Note that event processing begins after the `delayInSeconds` duration specified in the Push API. This is a temporary property, and will be removed after `21 November 2025`.
