Marketplace Partner Program

The Marketplace Partner Program is a series of benefits and resources designed to accelerate our partners' ability to build the best apps and solutions that meet the needs of Atlassian customers.

Once part of the program, partners participate in a vibrant ecosystem including Atlassian’s 300K+ customer base, early looks at product roadmaps, enhanced support, Atlassian-funded programs like our new partnership with Vanta, and so much more; all meant to help our partners leverage the trust that customers place in the Atlassian Ecosystem and in our Marketplace.

Marketplace Partners build, list, and sell apps through the Atlassian Marketplace, helping teams customize and extend the power of Atlassian products.

Partner Program Level Overview

The Marketplace Partner Program levels are determined based on requirements in revenue, security and trust compliance, customer support. These criteria demonstrate partners' exceptional performance and alignment with Atlassian’s vision and strategy.

Platinum Marketplace Partner

  • Platinum Marketplace Partners have successfully achieved Atlassian’s Bug Bounty Program’s security and trust standards for ALL their paid cloud applications.
  • Partners ensure customer support with a response time of less than 24 hours.
  • Partners hold SOC II Type 2 or ISO 27001:2022 certifications
  • Partners meet Atlassian’s compliance requirements by maintaining a third-party validated Trust Center.

Gold Marketplace Partner

  • The security and trust standards of Atlassian’s Bug Bounty Program are met for their paid cloud applications that have 100+ installations.
  • Partner offers customer support with a response time of less than 24 hours.
  • Partners have scheduled their SOC II Type 2 or ISO 27001:2022 audits for fiscal year 2026.

Silver Marketplace Partner

  • The security and trust standards of Atlassian’s Bug Bounty Program are met for their paid cloud application that have the most installs.
  • Partner can ensure customer support with a response time of under 48 hours.

How Partner Program levels are reviewed

Atlassian reviews each partner's program level in July of each calendar year:

    The partner portal is the place to be for all the resources and the updates around the Atlassian ecosystem.

    Eligibility

    Marketplace partners with at least one paid-via-Atlassian app and a private domain email address are eligible for partner portal access. We can't approve submissions from public domain addresses such as those from Google or Yahoo.
