whenever a template is edited, all the pages that transclude it are put into the job queue to be recached during periods of low server load (but see The Mediawiki Manual, which appears to contradict this, emptying the queue only at periods of high server load). This means that, in busy periods, it may take hours or even days before individual pages are recached and they start to appear in the category list. Performing a null edit to a page will allow it to 'jump the queue' and be immediately recached.
If it is necessary to add the template itself to the category page as well, the 'includeonly' tags can be omitted, but this is generally not desired.

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Gary Taubes. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Stalking?
Is it just a coincidence that out of the six million articles on Wikipedia, pretty much the first edits you make after several month's hiatus, and after attacking me[1] happen to be edit-warring on an article I've been active on, and which you have never edited[2] before now?
