Fictional character biography

edit

Necrom is the Sorcerer Supreme of another dimension. After traveling to Earth-616 to claim a portion of the Phoenix Force, he imbues it with part of his life force, transforming it into the Anti-Phoenix. However, the Anti-Phoenix is defeated and buried underground. Necrom then moves to Earth-148, and his former student Merlyn forms the Captain Britain Corps to prepare for his return.[volume & issue needed]

The conquest of Ee'rath

edit

After traveling to Earth-148 (also known as Ee'rath), Necrom conquered it and created magical monks to be his agents. He was only opposed by Kylun and his lover Sat'neen. After a long battle, Necrom killed Sat'neen and turned her into an undead slave. Furious, Kylun attacked Necrom, scarring his face. Necrom fled to Earth-616 and Kylun followed him, but they arrived months apart.[volume & issue needed]

Excalibur and the Anti-Phoenix

edit

Necrom then goes into hiding and becomes the Anti-Phoenix's host. He attempts to drain the full Phoenix Force from Rachel Summers, only to be overpowered and killed by her energy.[1]

Powers and abilities

edit

As a Sorcerer Supreme, Necrom possessed vast magical abilities. He could raise the dead to act as his servants, drain the life energy of others, transform his own body, and teleport. Additionally, he did not age, though he could still be injured and killed.
