Lack of examples and additional info

edit

There are no examples listed, despite there being many prominent and important examples in recent and distant history. Beyond that, however, is that these events are both interesting and rather difficult to find elsewhere--you'd need to know the name of the ship that was beached beforehand.

Additionally, there is a lack of some basic info: how successful are beaching attempts, usually? Can a ship be salvaged or repaired after such an event? Is there a significant potential for loss of life for the actual beaching event itself? How common is it, in general? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 161.253.8.205 (talk) 23:05, 23 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
