It looks like this and Kingdom of Sardinia are articles about the same place. This was was created more recently, and the other title seems to be one people are more likely to search for, so I redirected to that article. If that's wrong, and the redirect should go in the other direction, feel free to discuss here- but there definitely should not be two articles about the same place. If I've misunderstood, and this is actually a different place than Kingdom of Sardinia, feel free to explain. I'm easy to reason with, and just trying to make things less confusing. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs)22:01, 26 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
There's not a single evidence that the topic of this page and of the other one are the same. The Kingdom of Sardinia and Corsica was no more that the island of Sardinia, and Sardinia was ruled by a viceroy both during the Spanish, the Austrian, and the Savoyard era. The topic of the other page is about the Savoyard State between 1720 and 1861. Sardinia never annexed Piedmont, it became one of the Savoyard territories together with Savoy, Nice, Piedmont and (later) Ligury. The Kingdom of Sardinia, as independent nation, was in legal continuity with the Duchy of Savoy, not with this Kingdom of Sardinia and Corsica (as explained by Christopher Storrs).--Jonny Bee Goo (talk) 20:51, 4 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
This is the page about the Viceroyalty of Sardinia, called Kingdom of Sardinia by Papal sources. There's no evidence that this "Kingdom" expanded its laws out of the island of Sardinia. The flag of the 4 moors, for exemple, was the flag of Sardinia until 1848, but it was never used out of the island.--Jonny Bee Goo (talk) 19:55, 31 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
