Notable Departments
editWhat is the purpose of the "notable departments" list on this page? It seems kind of gratuitous, it's just a list of the school's departments with no explanation as to why these are notable. I know that the computer science department is renowned, but I know that from prior knowledge. Specific text to be added or removed:
- Undergraduates 27000 --> change to 31000
- Postgraduates 4500 --> change to 4750
- 340 undergraduate and 130 graduate programs --> change to 390 undergraduate and 150 graduate programs
- 16 centres and institutes --> change to 49 centres, schools and institutes
Reason for the change:
The number of postgraduate and undergraduate students, as well as undergraduate and graduate programs, has increased per the Faculty of Arts & Science website. The number of centres and institutes is also significantly lower than the number listed on the Faculty of Arts & Science website.

- Hi @Axad12, thank you for the reply and for considering these edits. I have a conflict of interest because I am an employee of the Faculty of Arts & Science at the University of Toronto.
- I should also note that since my initial request above, we received the latest postgraduate enrolment numbers and they are now 4,700 rather than 4,750 as indicated in my initial request.
