editApostle Joyce E. Scott is the founder and pastor of New Life Ministries International, which was established in 1983, in Chester Pennsylvania. It has since evolved into a spiritually vibrant ministry, which continues to experience tremendous growth. Apostle Scott attended the Jamison Bible Institute, Deliverance Bible Institute and furthered her studies in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Rhema Bible Training, where respectively she received her ministerial license and pastoral license and ordination. Additionally, Apostle Scott received her honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree from United Christian College in ! Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Accomplishments & Ministry
editBeing a woman of wisdom, integrity and commitment to character, she was subsequently, consecrated and affirmed to the office of Apostle in accordance with the Holy Scriptures on April 18, 2010. Apostle Scott has received a myriad of awards, citations and proclamations from various ministries, community organizations and city and state government officials, for her work towards ending hunger, violence and other social and spiritual ills in and around her community. In addition to this work, some of Apostle Scott’s affiliations include sitting on the prestigious Neumann University Advisory Board for its Center for Community Leadership & Entrepreneurship as well as a recent member of the well-renowned, National Association for Professional Women. In keeping with her global vision, along with pastoral responsibilities, Apostle Scott has travelled extensively throughout the world ministering the word of God. From Nigeria, Ghana, Hong Kong, China and Singapore to Malaysia, Philippine Islands, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Swaziland, Apostle Scott has used the word of God to uplift not only the people of these various countries, but some of their governmental officials as well. She was invited, along with a team of ministers from diverse countries to the United Nations, to meet with the Under-General Secretary regarding South African issues, where she has ministered in a multitude of provinces and cities, such as Capetown, Johannesburg and Soweto, just to name a few. A true visionary at heart, Apostle Scott has helped establish Christian schools and churches in Liberia, educating over 3,000 children. Somehow, within this hectic schedule Apostle Scott oversees several ministries here in the States and abroad. A visionary always finds a way to get the “work” done; thus the conception of Project Vision. Project Vision empowers Christians to fulfill the “Great Commission” in their community and throughout the world. As a result, Apostle Scott is helping people rebuild their lives, change their mindsets and alleviate some of the challenges they face, so a better quality of life can be a tangible reality. Her objective is to carry out the God-given mandate to establish the Kingdom of God thereby fulfilling the mandate to “Reach the World with New Life.”
