Pedro Perebal is a Guatemalan polyglot who gained attention for teaching himself several languages.[1] As of 2018, Perebal knew ten languages with different degrees of fluency, including Spanish, K'iche', English, Italian, French, Portuguese, German, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin.[2][3][4]
