I want to add a profile of my father in wikipedia . Can u pls help me out to make a new profile Akshitjain35 (talk) 05:24, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- You are allowed to create a draft about your father, but you should first declare your connection with your subject as a conflict-of-interest on your user page.
- Once you have done that, put together the published sources you intend to use as references and write the draft based only on what those sources say. Anything you "know" because he's your father can only appear in the draft if you have a published source to cite for it. There is more advice at Help:your first article.
- And some editors will get on your case if you speak of Wikipedia articles as 'profiles'. We have encyclopedia articles about notable subjects. Good luck. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 06:51, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
